Clancy's Public House - Richmond

Really brilliant food! The chicken fried steak is plate size and the shrimps are full of taste! They usually don't get this kind of food in a pub.

My wife and I ate here for a private half party and for a special beer dinner. Both experiences were excellent. Despite miscommunication about the nature of the beer dinner, where we arrived late and could not sit in the designated room, we were still accredited at the main bar and enjoyed an extraordinary meal with a great description of the courses and beer pairings from the main bartender. Dinner was amazing and to finish it, we have to meet the cook. If we lived closer, this would definitely be a regular place for us. But we'll get out of here for special occasions.

The food is fresh and delicious, and the menu selection was impressive! We have eaten here several times and the service is great every time. We have even brought our kids and they have loved the food too-and they are the toughest critics of all!

We have been here several times for dinner, lunch and brunch and have ALWAYS loved the food and great service. I love the atmosphere, lighting and that I also always see families with children when we go. The brunch is really unique and tasty, we really love the chicken and waffles and the dirty bird. Everything we've had so far off the lunch/dinner menu has been superb. The mozzarella appetizer is one of my favorites, and gosh, we've had so many things I can't even decide, the fish and chips, burgers, chicken fried steak, shrimp po'boy (my husband just modified this to have the buffalo sauce and blue cheese on it and oh my word it was great), Shrimp and grits, limerick steak, potato soup, OH and the Mac's of the weeks are something to look out for.

We frequent Clancy's on a weekly basis and I can say they are consistently on point every single time! Drinks are perfect, food is always fantastic and atmosphere is upbeat. Dishes that are our faves are the chicken wings, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes (HOMEMADE! , mac-n-cheese, sandwiches, burger, my kiddos love the chicken strips, and lastly but definitely not least is the FRIED MOZZARELLA!!! They have healthier options, salads, grilled chicken, which is just as tasty! This awesome pub has food for every picky eater!!!!
