They have really stepped it up with the food lately. Had the brisket tacos with fried onions and quacamole. Only $7 during happy hour and they were out of this world. I agree with others saying they’re trying to make the menu more upscale. Fortunately, the prices don’t seem to reflect that View all feedback.
What Rick Bruen doesn't like about Cha Cha's Southwest Kitchen:
Walked in and took a seat.. Watched one waitress run around to 3 tables seated.. After nobody noticing we were there, we got up to order from the bar.. A waitress came over as we were getting up and I told her we were happy to order from the bar as she was busy. Stood at the bar for 10 minutes. Nobody took our order and we watched the same waitress settle 3 tabs at the bar. So we walked out and went next door where w... View all feedback.
Exquisite oysters and service. This place is located in a very cosmopolitan place. Food and service have my 5 stars really fast.
I have to give this place five stars for his service! My friends and I came in a crowded night where we had to wait a while for our drinks. Until Santiago passed us to another part of the bar where he took our order. He would crack a few jokes and show his bartending skills. He was fun watching and conversing. Definitely gave us a good start to a fun night! The music was also great, made it hard to go as any song that came up was one we liked could not stop dancing!

Service is good and the food is good. Their daily lunch specials are good. Portion sizes are just right for a guy that likes to eat. Environment is nice, you can sit inside or outside. Parking is tough, you have to park in a lot and walk to the restaurant. I have eaten their tacos, quesadillas and burrito in a bowl and all have been very good.
The food is good, but the service is super slow. If you're in the middle of downtown surrounded by office buildings, it stands to reason you need to be on top of serving customers quickly. Today, arriving at 12:15 to an almost empty restaurant, it took our group of 6 almost 20 minutes to have our orders taken. Food arrived at 12:50. I had a meeting at 1, so had to take my food to go. Will go back, but only if I'm not time constrained, which most of us in the area are at lunch.
