Very good food, the loaded nachos appetizers is huge and extremely good. Would not expect this quality of food, from such a small cafe. Went with a group of 9, very quick service. View all feedback.
What Lupe Cassin doesn't like about Cary Street Cafe:
Great place for live music and there's some good food on the menu too. Craft beer selection is okay and doesn't seem to change. Service is slow even if you're at the bar. If you're getting take out check your food before leaving. Didn't get dip last time with chicken tenders. View all feedback.
A kind of hippie spot. also defines a pub atmosphere. had the breakfast of the farmer it was a pretty standard breakfast. eggs, speck, fried kartoffeln and toast. nothing extraordinary than good. also had the buffalo chicken sluice. boyfriend described it eloquent as “thanks”. he loved it, not really a family atmosphere.
I'm here for lunch. that was in order. Of course, I had better, but I had even worse. we both have the barnyard brewery. the sandwich was huge. I couldn't eat anything. the band that plays there wasn't that bad either. at least we also have a kind or free entertainment.
Also jerry would have a simple order right. my friend ordered three very simple things for delivery after placing her menu on our doorstep. it took two more calls and almost 2 full hours before our food arrived. cary st. cafe is not even two blocks away! did not eat badly, did not definitiw great and they still managed to screw the order. instead of her chili we got soggy afteros. cary st. cafe: they are fired!
Good veggie dishes. veggie chili bags is the first advice; black bean pack very tasty.
