Great food I love the fish dishes and the vegetarian options. My favorite time is Tuesday night for the Tuesday Verses open mic night. Oh, and this is the apparently the only place in RVA where one can find the Ethiopian Acacia red wine. There is both a sweet red and a dry red, and both are excellent. View all feedback.
What Mac Zboncak doesn't like about Addis Ethiopian Restaurant:
Horrible! Worst service ever. I only ordered sweet tea and was not informed that they don't have free refills. The food was mediocre and didn't not make up for the poor service View all feedback.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. the food was good. first time in Ethiopia.
My first visit to the restaurant addis Ethiopia was a wonderful experience. Great atmosphere and authentic Ethiopian cuisine. I recommend. especially for those who prefer vegetarian and vegan dishes!
Perfect for a date night as we had the place to ourselves. These are the smallest portions I have ever seen at an Ethiopian place so I'd say be prepared to order twice what you normally do ð¤
Absolutely awful. The waitresses in their that evening didnât care about anything wouldnt deliver the drinks. Gave one person there food 20 minutes before the other food came out. Food was ice cold. We had to keep asking for the check over and over again. Worst experience in Richmond Iâve ever had by far.
Found hair in my salad. They didn't make a fresh one, instead transferred the salad on a different plate. No apologies, no discount. One of the vegi dishes tasted a bit sour like it has gone bad. The other items were good. I have no idea what the sumbossa is supposed to be like but it was stuffed with steamed lentil without any salt or spices. The music was too loud and distracting. Overall, not what I was expecting and would rather go to Gojo.
