A real joy... A super nice and warm boss... Adorable and smiling staff (especially the little French girl . Super good crepes with homemade whipped cream. A lovely moment spent in this Anglo/Bretone creperie. I recommend View all feedback.
What Lyndsay -S doesn't like about Chez Lindsay:
Overpriced and stingy. Seemed promising nice location and took our order quickly. Beef bourgignon came with 2 new potatoes cut in half! Duck breast was small, overcooked and extremely tough which was a shame for £30. Nobody asked how the food was until they came to take the plates away and I said the duck was very dry. Unfortunately a power cut hit just before we arrived....however, Chez Lindsay by candlelight was wonderful. The staff coped admirably, service didn't falter, customers playfully interacted, someone used their phone to create a gentle French jazz playlist , and the crêpes were as tasty as ever (if somewhat a restricted menu). We very much enjoyed, it's one of our favourite places.
Faultless, as always! Panaché des poissons with sauce vierge was a great choice from the specials!
A small restaurant with good food friendly atmosphere
I can’t forget the duck confit and lemon passion fruit dessert (maybe it was a parfait? I had at Chez Lindsay. Always delicious!
Excellent food and service at very reasonable price.
