we crossed the city to search for a vegan restaurant. the one we found on this app was unexpectedly closed - probably due to the COVID array. this place was conveniently located. they seemed closed, so I called them. they only accepted collection or delivery orders. so we have placed the order online and picked it up from the restaurant. the doors were locked, but they opened it to pass the order. There is at least one or two vegan/vegetarian items in every section of the menu. Some of the dishes could use a bit more seasoning but that’s personal preference. The decor is cute and the service is decent. View all feedback.
Tacos were good, they lubricated like large Mexican tacos, and I could get corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas. The edamame was absolutely excellent! The stir fry chic chicken had a very unique taste. It had some spices in that I never had before, and it really mixed the aromas of rice and fajita in an adorable and mouth-watered way.
Excellent tacos. Complex flavors. Everything very unique. The cocktails were also amazing. I can't wait to come back.
Visiting from the other side of the Mississippi and figured Richmond would be an interesting day trip. Most places for lunch were closed or didn't sound very good. We had been recommended this place twice and they were open! Decided to check it out, a weird twist on asian and mexican. I think I enjoyed this place more than my friend did. We got calamari to share, which was really good with the seasoning and sauce. We both got the tacos and had different ones. I can say the shrimp tacos were favorite. I had ordered the vibe check for my second drink, and it was pretty good. If I came across this restaurant again, I would check it out.
Yummy! Very unique blend and fusion of flavors. Everything was so good. Service was great and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!
Ordered delivery from here. My husband got the chicken burrito, and I tried their vegan version. He loved his, and our meals were both prepared nicely. The only reason I put 4 stars is because there was something so strange tasting in the vegan “meat”. It had an almost brine-like flavor after taste that made it hard to finish eating. I’ve had a lot of vegan Asian food before, especially general tsos and orange chicken style, and I’ve never stumbled on this taste before. My husband tried it and noticed as well, noting that flavor was not in his. I think this is a great spot for most people, but maybe not the best for vegan options.
