The Mill - Richmond

Bar atmosphere, but pretty chill. Seemed like an older crowd. I only went once, and had the pizza with daiya cheese substitute and seitan. The price wasn't bad, but the pizza sucked. Seemed like a premade crust and sauce you could buy from Kroger. Mellow Mushroom wins in terms of vegan pizza I've had in RVA. It's too dope.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! They offer incredible vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes that are all incredibly tasty. My stepmother and I were thrilled with our black bean and sweet corn cake dish, as well as my Banzoburger with gluten-free bun and kale slaw. The food was impeccable! The service was also top-notch and very friendly. I can't wait to come back soon.

If you're dining with non-vegans who prefer meat options, this restaurant is a good pick. While most of the menu caters to them, there are a few tasty vegan dishes available as well. I've visited multiple times and my favorite dish is the Banzo Burger (made with garbanzo beans). The vegan chili is also quite delicious.

I dined at this restaurant last night with a non-vegetarian family member. I really liked the veggie burger, which was chickpea-based and had a nice kick to it. My husband had the option to customize his own pasta dish, which came in a large portion with plenty of vegetables. They also had a great selection of beers. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in Richmond.
