The Cannery Cafe - Richmond

Arrived here after 10 am on a Saturday and were able to pick our own table. By the time we left the place was full. Service was good and not rushed. They have a nice selection of breakfasts including eggs Benedict and French toast. At our table two of us ordered eggs with sausage or ham including multigrain toast. I loved their hash browns and hubby substituted them for fruit for a $1. The others ordered shrimp and spinach eggs benny and French toast. We all really liked our breakfasts. We shall return.

The owners of this place have changed the interior so much that it's unrecognizable as the Grannys' from Once Upon a Time. How short sighted of them. They have a real gold mine there to draw tourists but elected to change the interior too much!People want to see the restaurant as it is in the TV series not just as some blah fast food establishment.Meanwhile I had a grilled cheese for lunch and it was mediocre at best with one slice of processed Kraft "cheese" and over done french fries. Not worth the visit!

Wanted some good fish and chips and it was raining when we visited so went to the Cannery Cafe as it is a quaint little old house offering protection from the weather.Wanted to eat at the dock but rain chased us away. Not busy at the Cannery and lots of room - now I know why. I am still wanting good fish and chips! Large menu but nothing special here. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Prices were reasonable.

The food was good, nothing special. We ate here because it is the site from Granny's in Once Upon a Time.

We visited The Cannery Cafe because we are fans of the TV series Once Upon a Time. It was fun to see the location and take a picture at Granny's but we wouldn't choose to eat there again. The food was ok but we all wished that we had ventured to the wharf instead (walk-able distance).
