Sugar 'n Ice - Richmond

A welcomed change from the many chain coffee shops in the area. Quaint decor, clean, comfy seating, and a good selection of hot drinks and treats made this a delightful shelter from the rain!We had a salted caramel and pumpkin cheesecake and a cheesecake brownie... delicious!

The store itself is beautiful, new clean, modern. They don't have a great selection, could've been because it was late afternoon on a sunday. Thought I would take a chance and try their macarons, and I was not impressed. Maybe I have high expectations comparing them to Laduree or Thierry. And they were the same price as them at $2.25 each. Would I recommend it? Probably not. Their other baked goods might be better though.

While strolling along Bayview Street we spied a very quaint and nice bakery/cafe which just opened 2 months ago. The display cases and cake domes had a wonderful assortment of sweets, sandwiches and other finger food. Given that we had just finished lunch we opted for hot drinks and shared a pastry. Seating is limited to 3 tables. The cakes were more vertical than usual but were very beautifully presented.

The restaurant has a lovely decor and ambiance. Whether you want to grab treats with a friend or enjoy some alone time, this shop in Steveston is the perfect spot! Their custom cakes are beautiful and always add the perfect touch to any celebration. I appreciate the variety of items they offer each day, making every visit a pleasant surprise. Whenever I'm in Steveston, I always make sure to stop by. Keep up the fantastic work!

Sugar 'n Ice is absolutely fantastic! I ordered a selection of cupcakes for my father's 60th birthday, including Ferrero, Strawberries Cream, Apple Pie, and Grand Marnier with chocolate - all of them were incredibly delicious! Not only did they taste amazing, but they were also beautifully presented. They were a huge hit at the party! I would highly recommend Sugar 'n Ice for any event.
