Great taste, friendly atmosphere, remember to book coz the place is small. My favourite dishes include cumin lamb skewers, spicy tripe cold plate, deep fried tofu, spicy stir fried cabbage, turnip fish soup, etc..... Try and you shall find your favourite. Cheers. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Imperial City Bistro:
It's the neighbourhood Chinese Beijing Cusinie restaurant and mostly we only visited at lunch time! Foods alright and price a little high, like a set lunch for 2 nearly $60 ( but enough for 3 )... and their very famous one is Chinese Fritters, and temporary I found it's the best in town, and we always eat it with sweet or normal soya bean milk ! And other foods just normal and not as good as before. View all feedback.
I am rare from nr. 3 street in richmond, unless I feel like a spaghetti factory and bowling at night in the zone (which is closed now btw, sad face). thanks for chopsticks solid, I get to explore, expand my horizons and discover new mountains of food. the next station I visited with the chopsticks fixed crew was imperial city bistro near nr. 1 road, in the terra nowa village.
It was my first time to eat here and I have to say I was pretty impressed. Since there are so many Chinese restaurants to eat, these had in any case a few good dishes that have left me to want to second. we had the peking duck that they wore right at the table for them, which I thought was pretty cool. you have to try the skirt-chid with the sweet and acidic sauce. it is soouo goood . service was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I'll come back with my friends.
In general, I would recommend this restaurant for a pleasant family gathering if you are in the mood for some delicious Chinese food! Next time, I want to try the fish; the dish at the table next to us looked amazing!
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Highly recommend!
Very decent Northern Chinese cuisine tucked away in an unlikely corner. The price is a bit high but the quality for the price is reasonable. Came here for a Mother's Day dinner gathering with a large group. Enjoyed a number of quality dishes including their Peking Duck. In addition to the duck meat being included with the crispy skin, the rest of the duck frame was used to make a nice soup. Several of the deep fried dishes displayed excellence in their frying technique, including the temperature of the oil. In addition, their red bean stuffed Chinese donut dessert was absolutely delicious. I had two even though I was already stuffed from dinner! Staff provided friendly service and recommendations were spot on. This is a restaurant that boasts of quality Northern Chinese flavours and it hits the spot.
