My friends and I often frequent this Sushi style restaurant at least once a week. The food is good quality and service is mainly good. The odd time, you have to wait a while or I think they may give you meal to another table by accident, oops! We usually order the sushi or sashimi lunch which is very filling and includes miso soup before your meal. We are always in and out within an hour and fully satisfied with the... View all feedback.
What Delia Frami doesn't like about Ajishou Japanese Cuisine:
Today is my second time to get take out sushi from them. I paid $10.50 for a ajishou roll which has spicy tuna in it + $5.50 for a negitoro roll. When the time I open the box, i found out that the first piece and the last piece of my sushi roll has NO tuna in it.... what the.... i paid $10.50 for this special roll, not a whatever rice with seaweed roll.... I will never come back again!!! People dont order take out fr... View all feedback.
Not worth Wht they charge...Chinese sushi chef doing Japanese Sushi not have feel there... Not going back.. Lots of other choice in Richmond
Fresh sashimi, yummy oyster, nice tempura, taste awesome, you won't regret dine in this venue. Reservation is a must, otherwise you might have to wait for hours. Don't forget to ask for ice cream after the meal, it's free, tell them Michael say so.

Stopped here for lunch with the family since we were shopping in the area. Didn't come in with any expectations, so it turned out as a nice surprise. They have 10 or 12 different lunch special combinations which were all reasonably priced. Although not an overwhelming amount of food, still an adequate amount of decent quality:1) I had the sushi sandwich combo because it looked a bit different than the other standard dishes. The sushi sandwich was probably the least appetizing of the entire combination plate, but still OK. Udon was decent, and the korokke was good. 2) My wife had the chicken teriyaki/tempura combo, which on the most part was good. 3) My kids share a sushi/udon combo that they were very happy with.Service was not very friendly (which is typical because these restaurants rely on turble turnover and not high level service), but they were attentive - they visited our table to refill our tea often, and asked if the food was OK (which is a rare event). The restaurant itself if very modern and sleek - a nice looking place. There is plenty of free parking available.Overall, a good value for decent food for lunch Nothing really outstanding, but sometimes it's just nice to go to a restaurant with good value that doesn't look like a dump.
They used fresh ingredients on their dishes. Prices are on the expensive side but it is very typical in Richmond BC. Tables are a bit packed but new renovations/building so it's not too uncomfortable. I think their management is trying hard to provide good service but since their are non-Japanese, their "too attentive" approaches could be pressure to some people. In general, a great addition to Richmond's Japanese Foods.
