Nestled in the Tri-Cities area, this charming restaurant, housed in a vintage railroad dining car, offers a unique culinary experience. Guests rave about the delicious menu featuring homemade pasta and standout dishes like veal parmesan and mixed seafood pasta. While some find the service occasionally slow, the welcoming atmosphere and historic setting make for an enjoyable visit. Diners appreciate the reasonable prices and the option for great desserts like tiramisu. With positive feedback on both food quality and service, this quaint eatery is a cozy spot for memorable meals, especially on special occasions.

If I could give this p.o.s. of a restaurant zero stars I would. Ordered the wine tasting for $26.00 which was suppose to be $24, with alleged small plates and received 3- 1/2 ounce pours instead of the usual two ounce pours and horderves on one small piece of wood. The Aparagus spears were the smallest known to man. Also got spaghetti with meatballs which was very average, dried out, and bland. $70! I will never, ever go the this despcable rip off of a restaurant again...EVER! Thieves! Do yourself a favor and go to Chapala's next door and get enough food for two meals at one third the price! This was our second foray to Monterosso's. Both times the food was amazing, the service impeccable and the atmosphere charming. Would recommend this experience for anybody with the caveat that you understand what you're getting into. It is an antique dining car; there is not an overabundance of space, conversations carry. If you're looking for a private venue, look elsewhere. If you're looking for amazing food, the experience of eating in an antique dining car with very friendly and amazing staff, this is for you.

Converting an old wagon into a restaurant is brilliant! Inside and outside, this place is charming. We were super satisfied with service and food as well. Our food was delicious and prices were reasonable! Definitely a good choice in Tri-Cities area.

It was a different dining experience for sure.. It could be better.. We werent greeted at the door, and it was confusing being our first time exactly where and what we were to do... Our server never really even catered to us, it was underwhelming... the two smallest bread sticks were brought out and they were okay nothing special.. Ordered a side ceasar and there wasnt even Croutons since when would a ceasar salad not have that(literally my favorte salad to order and never have i not been served croutons).. My cream sauce was very runny on my fettuccine with little to no flavor. I had to add salt and that says alot about a cream sauce... My hubby's lasagna was underwhelming. Plating was very messy and his sauce was also runny.. Cool historical dining car, could be better with better quality and care put into the food...
