What IF I WENT THERE IM RATING doesn't like about Hot Crab Cajun Seafood:
The chinese guy at the front desk was very rude. I lived at the apartments next to the restaurant, first time I went I ended up getting food poisoning, I just went on 9/28/23 and of course I got food poisoning again , I asked the african american lady inside why do they get their food they cook from the lake jokingly and she told me that the reason i always get sick is because the chinese guy uses the cheapest ingred... Very disappointed after reading the hyped up reviews. I ordered the snow crab w/ potatoes to go. The guy at the desk was very rude and seemed irritated with me asking specific questions regarding my order. Since it was my 1st time, I didn't know what came with my crab, if there was seasoning or spice choices...nothing. He spoke to me like I was a repeat customer and should have known the menu. I have Louisiana roots and family the Boot so I KNOW what good seasoning and flavor is. The seasoning was mediocre and not good to me. With all this inflation and food being is high as giraffe ?...make sure you have extra money to waste money if you wanna take a chance.
My first time trying Hot Crab and it was ok for $30. Shrimps were fresh and the sides were good but the snow crab lacked meat and were dirty. The house special sauce was too salty and gave me chest pains. Overall, it was ok. I’ll probably stick to Kickin Crab for now on.

Great service! Great food! Can’t ask for more! I’ve been coming here with my family since my baby was a few months old, she’s almost 3 now! Definitely a spot I go to anytime I’m in the Dallas area!
Arrived here 30 min prior to closing. Upon arriving it look closed, (closed at 9pm) weren’t expecting 15 people to show up. They weren’t mad/bothered a party that big was coming in.Waiter was nice and helpful! Good was amazingWish I came a busy time, they have a stage I wonder if they have live music etc,I definitely recommended!
