I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the fish, especially considering it’s Dallas—when I think of poke, sushi, or fish, coastal locations usually come to mind. You can customize your own bowl, but I highly recommend the B40 Island Bowl, which is a fantastic all-in-one option packed with flavor in every bite. It was a quiet dinner when I visited, likely because it was a Monday night during football season and there were no TVs. I’m not sure if this is typical, but the food was definitely good.

For our daughter, we chose the kids' chicken and rice bowl. Everything was delicious and fresh! This was my third visit, and once again, I wasn't disappointed. The service has consistently been friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is perfect for both solo diners and families. I will definitely return! As for kid-friendliness, our daughter loved the chicken bowl; we all enjoyed it!

I really appreciated that they brought the food to my table and included a cup of miso soup for dine-in customers—such a nice touch! I can't wait to return and try a custom poke bowl next time!
