Excellent desserts. Especially the cannoli, superb. The best in Sicily.
I've purchased several times from Bar Carlo's, the excellent products, top-quality, and excellent service. The owners are wonderful people with a deep understanding of their craft. I recommend everyone reading this to try all their baked goods. It's a great place to buy artisanal panettone and colomba cakes during the holidays, and they're well worth it.
I bought a panettone at the archive two years ago. With a cream inside delicate and light color just orange. Last year I tried the one at the pistachio and was very good, but not higher than that of orange. This year, sure of goodness, I took three. Two orange and one pistachio. The disappointing orange one, the internal cream was different, of strong orange color, sour and also very little (less bad). The one on the pistachio had the cover frosting with the crumbled pistachios on it, which had gone wrong. I had to take it all off and throw it away. I attach photos of this year's orange panettone and the previous one. Another story. Luckily I didn't give them as I promised. I would have done a bad figure!! I don't think I'll appeal.
This absolutely amazing panettone was sent to us! With an excellent cream to accompany it. Despite the journey, it kept very well!
It's not the first time but it's always a novelty! Great assortment of both sweet and salty and absolutely their production. A special applause to pizza with salami and their ice cream... unspeakable goodness!! Very clean and bright place and it is also possible to take advantage of the tables outside. What do you mean? absolutely to try!
