We stopped at this place for a treat after a hour hike nearby. The desserts were perfect, all you can expect. There is a small terrace where you can watch people stroll by and relax. View all feedback.
What Ludmilla Ritter doesn't like about Boulangerie Patisserie Vilmain:
The tea and coffee were average, baked goods good. But unfortunately the service was terrible: slow and unfriendly. Also was tied to see the waitress with bread and pastries with her bare hands. View all feedback.
Ribeauvillé is a pretty city next to the constant traffic. And this terrace here offers wonderful elements and also some light menus. We packed a quiche to go first (salmon) and were very impressed. Nicely made, fresh ingredients. A beautiful and hearty quiche. So we decided to get a good number of desserts, small cakes and terrace: with nuts, chocolate, caramel and more. They were all really beautifully made, really beautiful looking desserts. They were good. The mousse filling light and sweet. It's good. But: most articles we bought were a bit of variations from the same thing. In the end, most of them were filled with mousses. That's good, but a little more of a variety would have been nice. But they have many different things. Safe one place to try again, some more and other items.
We ordered two coffee and two pastries and paid immediately. After completing our coffee and pastries, we use the toilet that was pretty dirty. When we went, we were asked to pay an additional euro for the use of the toilet! Never experienced!!
We are a French family visiting Riquewihr. This establishment was nearby our hotel. The first morning we stopped to have breakfast but pastries were sold out so we only had coffee. We observed the way this person spoke to customers (Of all nationalities) coming in was rude with a terse tone. The next morning we wanted to try a different place but it was closed. We went back to Vilmain to see if they had pastries this time, which they did. We walked in, said bonjour and straightaway she said salon de the is closed! She should change the sign in front of the store that says Non stop service to No service!

A short first, only and last one: our visit on this freezing January Sunday morning to this Salon de Thé without functioning heating, borderline-friendly service and a Coke served in a not overly clean 2-dl-glass, which was factured for 3 dl...
