The room was beautiful, the staff were attentive and the food was superb, I highly recommend the watercress omelette for breakfast. After returning to London, I felt very refreshed, and would honestly and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and its restaurant. Rooms: 5

Over all... read more Great meal, just need to ring to table all of the order (bread missing from mussels), was asked if I wanted my beef pink but came over done (why ask)? Over all the mussels were tasty plentiful, the crab pate was enjoyed by my partner, the two roast dinners were huge well received (although no apple sauce on premises to go with roast pork)! Roast dinners a little above what we would normally pay, and another £6 for cauliflower cheese was a bit steep! But over all we enjoyed will be back. Thank you

The food was... read more I have visited this restaurant for lunch multiple times, but had never dined here in the evening until last Friday when I came with three friends. The food was excellent as always, but the loud music made it difficult for us to enjoy our evening. Despite the singer being talented and having a wide range of songs, the volume was overwhelming. We had to shout to hear each other, and I even felt tempted to turn down the amplifiers. Sitting at the far side of the restaurant helped slightly, but I can imagine it would have been unbearable if we were closer to the bar. I have given a 4* rating for the food and service, but the music truly detracted from our experience. I will continue to dine here during the day, but I will not choose this restaurant for an evening outing.

The hasselb... read more My husband and I just love this pub. We combine a dog walk from the top park with food and drink. The fires are always lit and the pub is welcoming. The hasselback butternut squash from their festive menu is outstanding. Delicious ingredients, flavours and textures, wow.
