What SallyM79 doesn't like about Red Mint World Buffet:
This restaurant used to be our favorite spot for Sunday lunch, but not anymore. We will no longer be coming here. The lack of trays to carry the plates means our food arrived cold, including the Yorkshire pudding which was not enjoyable. The vegetables were also poorly cooked. The roast was decent and the gravy was delicious, but for a similar price, we can find better quality elsewhere. View all feedback.
Save yourself the trouble. Despite my initial excitement from their online presence, the reality was far from appealing. The car park was crowded, but the bar we entered was dismal - empty, shabby, and felt like a dive. After settling the bill, we were led to a table that wobbled on an uneven floor in a room lacking in atmosphere and desperately in need of a makeover. The food displayed on trolleys was unappetizing, and the first few bites confirmed our suspicions - cold, overly spicy, or tasteless. The deep-fried noodles lacked flavor, the chicken in breadcrumbs was too spicy, and the chow mein was not enjoyable. The boiled rice was especially disappointing - I could easily make a better batch myself. The menu seemed to lean heavily towards Indian cuisine rather than offering a variety of worldly dishes. I'm not one to be overly particular, but this dining experience was thoroughly unpleasant.
The food was delicious with plenty of options to choose from, and you can eat as much as you want. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Just coffees teas and soft drinks after the Mint Experience...! Seemed a wee bit on the expensive side for what we had...! Never mind seats tables a rest...!
The carvery is the best ever. 10/10.. loads of meat fresh veg piping hot tasty gravy.great roasties what more could you want and only £6.95 well worth it..
