Zigzag Mountain Cafe - Rhododendron
Zigzag Mountain Cafe
Description
Nestled in a cozy setting with views of the woods, this restaurant has garnered mixed feedback from diners. While many praise its friendly staff and delightful brunch menu—highlighting standout dishes like the lumberjack breakfast and homemade biscuits—some guests find the prices steep and the atmosphere lacking in cleanliness. The service can be slow, especially during less busy hours, leading to dissatisfaction among larger groups. Despite these drawbacks, the charming décor and hearty offerings earn it a loyal following among those seeking a comforting meal after a day outdoors. Overall, it's a spot worth considering, especially for breakfast lovers.

We adored the restaurant, the food, and the staff! We had breakfast there and it cost $10–20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent, with a rating of 5 out of 5 for each. We highly recommend trying the Egg Benedict dish.
This is a delicious spot to enjoy a filling breakfast. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
This restaurant offers amazing food and excellent service. The dining experience is top-notch, with a delicious brunch menu at a reasonable price of $10–20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5-star rating.
Always a first choice to go get an amazing breakfast with fast and friendly service! Erika, or regular server, always has or drinks out right after we sit, and recalls our usual orders, which I think is so awesome. I get the eggs Benedict, all the varieties they have are tasty, especially the one with the smoked salmon! My husband gets the chicken fried steak or biscuits and gravy, and we leave full everytime. Highly recommend to anyone coming through town. The prices are high anywhere you go here, so I don't think that's a reasonable complaint, because it's about the same price as all the other joints. Best strawberry rhubarb and marionberry cobblers that I've ever tasted! Food was excellent, service was superb, although a bit slow because only one person was serving the floor. We ate breakfast here and came back for the cobbler in the afternoon Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Cobbler, Sausage, Sausage Gravy, Toast, House Breakfast Potatoes
