We really enjoy this cozy restaurant. Ted prepares the best old-fashioned cocktails and the food is delicious. Be sure to leave room for a slice of lemon cake for dessert. It's light and tangy! Eh. the tiny building is scratched in the grunde a local town bar with some tables in the corners. we were there twice and thank the quality for the non-smoking law, because the first time everything was smoke. when we went for the second time, it is like the old West movies, in which all the talking stops and everyone turns to look at them, the bartender sizing you up. that was a bit disturbing, but we sat fast and... Could not call to make reservations. I received news that was full post-time. so would not recommend.
Wow, $50 for (2) fish dinners, (3) extra pcs. of fish and a small container of bland clam chowder. Everything was bland. The fish was dry and unflavored. Lesson learned. Never go back there again. Backwater’s Bar is the best.
It was a fun atmosphere. The food was delicious .Our waitess was a sweetheart .We loved the experience .
Always friendly service great food. Highly recommend.
Best old fashioned I’ve ever had! And my husband I enjoyed their tenderloin ribeye dishes.
