The food was very fresh, homemade, presented with style and the menu is very original. There is a set menu, with a choice of two, for each course; each course was original and exceptional. We will definitely be back. Oh; and it was spotlessly clean. Hurray and well done to the charming chef/owner.

The young chef, who has, apparently, previou... read more It has been great to discover this exceptional restaurant in what was previously something of a gastronomic desert. The young chef, who has, apparently, previously worked in a number of Michelin starred restaurants produces imaginative and delicious food and also maintains a superb list or reasonably priced wines. Whilst the menu only has two choices of entrees, main courses and desserts, the quality of each dish within the choices available is so high that the limited choice really doesn't matter. Far better to concentrate on getting those dishes that are offered absolutely right instead of offering a huge menu of less than exceptional dishes. This restaurant is remarkably good. My wife and I have now been there 5 or six times and we can't wait to go back. This restaurant is a must for anybody who understands and appreciates good food.
