A place to enjoy a pint, as they have several local beers on tap and of course you can get a Guiness. The menu is simple, hot dog and Guiness stew, which is a very hearty beef stew with carrots and potatoes. The stew will warm your heart and soul on a cold Iceland day. Nice atmosphere with classic rock playing the background. View all feedback.
What Jillian C doesn't like about The Drunk Rabbit Irish Pub:
We visited this pub as we all know that Irish pubs normally have a great atmosphere. Well, not this Irish pub. I ordered a half pint of Guinness, only to be given a lecture on how Guinness should be poured and its not possible to pour half a pint. The bar tender wasnt Irish. Im Scottish and drink Guinness and I know that if you're any decent bar tender, you would know how to pull a half pint. My friend then moved alo... View all feedback.
This Irish pub is a lively spot with a lot of tourists, but you can still have great conversations and learn about people. I even had a nice chat with a guy from Ireland who bought me a drink. He was a friendly guy. They also have some cool T-shirts for sale which I ended up buying one.
Avoid this place, guys. We paid £74 for 2 lagers and 2 gins. Head to Bravo Bar instead where you can get 4 beers for only £18. I felt like I was treating everyone to a beer in the pub. Iceland may be expensive, but I'm certain we were overcharged. When I raised the issue, I didn't get much of a response other than "Iceland is expensive." I understand that, but it felt like we were being swindled. Be cautious.
We visited a small bar near the Settlement Museum because it looked busy and inviting. It had the typical Irish bar vibe that can be found anywhere in the world, but lacked atmosphere and only had a few seats. The beer was okay, but we preferred the experience of visiting local breweries.
We watched the Ireland V Scotland match here on 07/10/23 and it was perfect, on a large TV! A wonderful atmosphere, and nice and intimate for chat with others! The staff were so nice!! Would recommend. Also, the Guinness was great!
Went in to try my first Guinness. The bartender Donbyrde was absolutely hilarious and made our visit there very memorable. I definitely recommend.
