I had the 7-course vegan tasting menu, the falafel, flat brot with 2 spreads, grilled oyster mushrooms (grown! , roasted cauliflower, grilled carrots, gurke (big aromen, but would have been better if it was aubergine or squash, and baklava eis (best ices I've ever had!) some dishes were like the flatbread and falafel, but the rest was delicious! One of the best meals I have ever had. Excellent service and delicious food, with lovely twists on classics. Many veg options which can also be made vegan, marked as such. I even found a vegan wine although they don’t label these. We went on a Wednesday in February and the place was buzzing.

Great! we found this place by michelins five recommended island. sumac and it is sister restaurant ochse are incredible! the whole food was so good and the staff was so friendly and helpful. we have tried with them all their recommendations for hours. we loved to eat all this and cannot wait
Open later than many restaurants in the environment. Amazing eating, atmosphere and hospitality. we sat at the bar in front of the cooktop. the kitchen was full of hard work and concentrated people. our daughter commented a few times how fast and concentrated a dam in the kitchen. we had the garnels, hummus, grilled bach, kartoffels and lamb. it was our best eating island hands down. ironically, the hostess/advertising was our “Guide in Training” on our food tour and also makes sportjournalism. she is very personal and great so everyone feels at home. highly recommended. .
On the search for a good restaurant on the island this was the one! I found it only because a local it recommended us. the aromas of eating are from this world, only with the fusion possible that the Moroccan cook used in its kitchen in this restaurant. a must on the island!
