Maybe my expectations were too high given the hyped-up reviews of the Fish and Chips Vagninn. It has the requisite obscure location, modest abode and borderline curt staff. Nonetheless, as Fish and Chips go it was sadly just ok and nothing that would elevate it to the heights we thought it would reach. Even the tartar sauce was pre-fab'd in a tiny plastic container. What can I add except that it was excellent. A large part of fish (juicy, not dried) and frits were really good, not the classic thin strips. And the crown was laid by a very pleasant and helpful Lord (Tandant). It is clean there and with a beautiful view (from the ship repair).
Best fish n’ chips I have EVER! Bless this red car in the harbor. I wanted to come back a little.
