I visit this restaurant several times a year, excellent quality food that is prepared and made fresh for every meal. This does mean you will have to wait longer but it is well worth it. The restaurant is small but recently renovated to add more space, it's kept it charm and traditional decor. Well worth a visit! View all feedback.
Best Thai food I've ever eaten! Amazing employees and very talented chefs! Family-run restaurant with amazing variety of authentic Thai dishes. I am vegan and many possibilities were available to me! Recommend this beautiful restaurant! Can't wait to come back!
I love everything in this restaurant. My favourite job on the menu is 121 Fried Tofu with Chili salt sauce (Minus of the coriander for me) and sticky rice on the side. The taste never lacks and never had a disappointing experience. They say on their website that the service is slower when busy, so when lower arrive at time at 18:00 and then you will get your food quickly. Please and thank you for a long way with the servers, they are super sweet. If they are busy, they don't have time for small conversations, so remember. You're a Thai restaurant, not an American restaurant that looks like a Karen here, will not take you far.
This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Iceland (as far as)! As a hot girl, I love spicy food. And Ban Thai really about my expectation! We were three and ordered 4Dishes big jasmine rice 3 Thai iced tea, it was perfect enough for us. The squid salad was super fresh and good chewing texture; Tofu Vegetables Curry is suitable for friends who are afraid of spicy but want to try the curry was sour and sweet; Ginger roasted fish also sweet and a little ginger hot; My favorite is the “Pad Kao Pao” w/chicken, it has 3 wicy level and I was so satisfied! From coz the Thai iced tea is a must because it can balance the spyness! I definitely come back with friends. P.s. Very recommended to make a table reservation as very popular for locals.
AWESOME Thai Restaurant. Forget Iceland, this is the best Thai restaurant I've ever been. The Thai iced tea was perfect, not too sweet. The spices are here the REAL DEAL (and I often eat spicy food). We were lowkey sweating of level 2-3 and a real challenge to finish our max level 5 record. The Basil Tofu was our favorite for the sweet basil sauce. The drunk noodles were also tasteful with good spices. The “Janggle Curry” was really sharp, we sweated and sweated after a few bites, just get it when you seriously over spices.
Amazing Thai. Cosy and very friendly atmosphere. The food is very nice, on the spicy side (as it should be). Friendly service, and on top of that, a small and nice selection of Belgian beers! If I had stayed another night in Reykjavik, I would have gone back. 5* and recommended!!!
