Fosshotel Reykholt

Beautiful hotel with comfortable, updated rooms and a great breakfast buffet. beside some design slides strangely wired light switches for the leselamps and the shower wall that does not reach the floor, whereby the bathroom floor to get wet, the rooms are perfect for a relaxing night sleep and they are also treated with a pleasant view. the restaurant has good kitchen, but do not expect to be full. the dishes are real “Spa kitchens” arranged a few bits tastefully on a teller for a big price day.

Reykholt is also very small for Icelandic standards. so the hotel has nothing close, but is an ideal overnight among the sights. the rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is friendly.

Very nice hotel. new structure, clean and close to the some important touristic point. not so expensive. to try you'll enjoy

I stayed in a superior room for one night and had a great experience. The parking was convenient, the breakfast buffet was tasty, and the service was friendly. The only downside was a constant humming sound coming from a cabinet in the hallway. If you are sensitive to noise, you may want to use earplugs to sleep. The economical rooms seemed outdated, so I recommend upgrading to a superior room for longer stays.

We stayed in a spacious superior double room with heated floors in the bathroom - a nice touch. The attentive staff were very helpful upon our late arrival, even though the kitchen was closing soon. They allowed us to enjoy our meal without rushing us. The food was prepared freshly and masterfully.
