Bowman Orchards - Rexford
Bowman Orchards
Description
Bowman’s is a family-focused u-pick farm celebrated for abundant, delicious berries, apples, peaches and sunflowers, plus clean grounds, a playground, petting zoo, seasonal tractor rides, a lively farm shop, cider slush and homemade ice cream. Many visitors enjoy friendly staff, generous selection and promotions, while concerns include steep u-pick prices, wristband or admission fees, restrictive bag policies and occasional unfriendly service. It remains a popular, rustic outdoor destination that delights children and tradition-minded families but may feel costly or inconsistently hospitable to some.

Such a great place for family! We went to the butterfly and blueberry festival and it was awesome!
Did not feel welcome! I have never pulled the race card and never thought I would have to but yesterday I experienced absolutely ridiculousness from the first second at the gate I explained to the ticket taker that I paid online she did not want to listen to me she wasn't friendly it was okay show me okay go here and then once white guests showed up she was more friendly she was alive it was night and day okay no big deal. However when the tractor that takes you to the fields came around I'm the only one that said hello I'm the only one that said thank you no response, all the other guests got oh thank for coming did you have a great day did you have a great time when it was over we went to the gift shop once again the counter person was very bubbly very friendly with other customers when it was my turn to purchase nothing cold no did I find everything I needed) did you have a fun time) nothing I was going to buy my kids ice cream but after that experience I just decided I wasn't going to spend anything else at this place after spending $100 maybe more on the experience I would never go back my kids did have a great time so that's a plus and they're very young so they don't really know what was really going on thank goodness but it's a no for me.
I absolutely love bowman's. Everything is clean. Everyone is friendly. The berry, peach, and sunflower picking are family traditions because they are always so great.
There are so many rows of fruit! The U-pick entry fee is $5, and it’s $8.50 per quart (with a minimum of one quart), which is definitely worth it because the berries are incredibly delicious. The shop is a lot of fun, featuring a wide variety of fresh produce, baked goods, cider, and assorted trinkets. Plus, the homemade ice cream is absolutely delightful!
My family and I have been apple picking at Bowman’s for over three years now. The promotion they're running — no admission fee for U-Pick from 9 to 11 AM on weekdays — is what convinced my husband, our kids, my sister, brother-in-law, and niece to join us out in the fields on a sweltering 90° day! The apples are always worth it, and the cider slush was a refreshing treat to cool us off afterward.
