My family and I have been apple picking at Bowman’s for the past 3+ years. Their promo they’re offering (no admission fee for U-Pick from 9-11am M-F) was what got my husband, our kids, my sister, BIL and niece out in the fields on a 90° day! But the apples are ALWAYS worth it and the cider slush was a great treat to help cool us off afterward. View all feedback.
What Melissa M doesn't like about Bowman Orchards:
Prices for u-pick are ridiculously high.In response to Bowman’s reply- this was posted regarding your berry picking. We paid about $45 to pick. I’m used to paying half that at the other farms. As far as apples, that’s cool you offer free entry but you should be offering it all the time. View all feedback.
I would love to see this place release their tax statements. They claim their new outrageous pricing is due to the new economic climate, but I’m willing to bet the millionaires who own this place are just being greedy. It’s so sad to see what used to be a family oriented establishment turn into another greed fueled business. Obviously businesses need to make money, no one denies that but this level of price gouging is ridiculous!

Just went here and HOLY MONEY GRAB! Do not go here. I have been going to Bowmans since being a kid and loved it. Now, as of 2023, it cost $5 a person just to pick your own apples. And two medium sized bags of apples are $54. Figured my kid could just go in considering she is 2, nope, another $5. It also now costs money and requires a wristband to play on the wooden playground. I was also not allowed to bring a diaper bag with me, told to bring it back to the car or leave it with a stranger. Won’t be returning here, sad end to a family tradition. Not about to pay $65 to pick my own apples. Greedy, Greedy, Greedy.

Wonderful place for apple and berry picking through a number of seasons. Amazing for children with a beautiful playground and petting zoo and lots of places to run around. On top of it, people who work there couldn’t be nicer!
