We attended a small event at the restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes. It was a busy Friday night, and the place was packed with diners. However, within about 30 minutes, the crowd thinned out to just two or three tables. The staff were very friendly, but the food was disappointing and not worth the price. My orange chicken contained small, square pieces of chicken that seemed to have been previously frozen for too long, and the breading didn’t help. I had high hopes for the egg rolls, but I was let down when I saw that they were deep-fried after cooking. View all feedback.
Food is as good as it has always been but the family meals have been reduced to make it not worth going if you're going with kids. Pretty bummed as we used to go here a lot when we lived in Rexburg. The picture is $60 of food minus just the egg rolls.
Hard to disappoint especially for New Years. Love eating out here. Orange Chicken is amazing Fried Rice is amazing Chef customer service was also amazing.
I wanted to like this place as the waitress was very friendly. But the food was not to our liking. The breaded portions of the General TSO chicken was just that...breading with little to no meat inside. The fried rice did not appear to actually be fried rice, but rather steamed rice with some ham in it. The spicy beef was a bit salty. Ambiance is not great, but as I said earlier, the staff was very good.
The orange chicken is incredible!
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. It has quickly become our go-to spot for Chinese cuisine in Rexburg.
