Tookes Country -b-que - Rex

A friend or two told me that the food was great, so I wanted to try. It was okay, but it could have been better. The pulled pork was chopped, the baked beans were from the can, the Mac was bland, potato salad was runny. The only thing I liked was the cake and the sweet potato cake and oh yes the friendly service. I spent almost $50 for nothing.

Literally I just ordered the best BBQ I've ever had! I got the pulled pork sandwich and that was massive I am a big guy and couldn't finish it and the taste was just incredible that my wife got the ribs and literally melted them off the bone... 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend looking for a real good food.

My first time to visit this hidden jewel and everything I can say is so delicious! My husband and I tried the rib dinner and pulled pork sandwich with fries. Everything was so good! We will definitely come back.

Love the old hole on the walls! Right on the side of the street and delicious. I got the ribbed tip plate, the sauce was good and added the smoked ribs. Come on!

Went to Tookes for the second time this year. Their food has changed some. They smoke the meat really well but it still needs more seasoning. I will say they give you enough food for what you pay. The sides were the best thing I've tasted in awhile, especially the mac and cheese.
