What luce gaillard doesn't like about Cooper's Hawk Winery Reston:
Many choices of entrees, specialties and appetizers. The food was good as was the server. BUT it was just TOO loud in the section the three of us were in. The tables seemed crammed together for maxim patronage. Maybe a booth would have been a better place to sit. View all feedback.
Saturday night was the typical zoo but the employees made up for it! Started the night off with a tasting. The bar was packed with no space to spare, but Jasmine was extremely accommodating and patient. She not only found space but made sure to provide individual attention despite a very large group taking up half the bar. Jasmine was an excellent wine server. She explained each wine and maintained a pleasant attitude in a very hectic Saturday evening. Was treated to have Gabby as our server. She was attentive and her charismatic attitude made the evening more pleasant. She was apologetic with the delayed entrées (which were absolutely out of her control, the kitchen was extremely busy). Given the packed house and delicious wine, we were enjoy the company of others. Can’t wait to ask for her again! Overall this location is excellent. Food is ALWAYS consistently great and if you can’t find a wine or drink you like, you won’t find it anywhere else… Could literally recommend almost any dish on the menu. You won’t be disappointed.
This restaurant treats it's kitchen staff horribly! For example, they have yet to fix the air conditioning so that the workers can do their job without risk of getting a heat stroke or worse! One worker in particular got written up for having to use the bathroom because he had to drink cool water to keep from getting overheated. There are scheduling issues and other things, but I can't support an establishment that treats their staff in such a cruel way.
This is my go-to place. It's definitely a treat every time. I love that specials and new wines are added to the menu for a slight change ?
We’ve been here at least 10 times, as a couple, with our family and other friends and families. This place delights consistently. Service is excellent. Wine is great. We recently joined wine club and are loving it! Food is a solid 4/5. Restaurant and tasting room vibes are awesome. Definitely a go-to staple in Reston!
We had the best lunch here today. The food (as always) was amazing. Everything came out quickly and warm. Our water, Devon, was a pleasure and made sure our meal was a totally pleasurable experience.
