This restaurant is located in an office building, but it's truly a hidden gem. They offer excellent coffee and delicious pastries. However, their breakfast is outstanding, especially the omelet, which is very well-made. View all feedback.
The food is fresh, strong health conscious and the price is the same with quality. Unlimited salad pages and comes under $8 for not meat eaters.
Great selection of breakfast items. Good coffee. Only complaint would be is that the Oatmeal is always cold.
Great lunch salads and parking is easier than at Reston Town Center.
The food is impressive—very fresh and tasty! I ordered a custom omelet with potatoes and sausage links, along with a mocha. The omelet was light and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly. The mocha, while decent, could be better. The atmosphere is a bit loud, featuring a somewhat annoying mechanical noise (possibly from the HVAC system?) along with upbeat music that plays just loudly enough to make conversation challenging during meals. I found the music energizing, though, which I appreciated during breakfast. I did hear some patrons complain about the temperature being too cold, but it didn't bother me at all. I should note that I’m writing this in the summer, so I hope the heating in winter is effective since the walls are almost entirely made of windows. One downside was the price—if I had a bit of sticker shock, it would be because they charge DC prices, with my meal coming to a little over $15. If the prices were a bit more reasonable and the coffee improved, I would confidently rate Canteen a solid 4 stars.
