Cafe Montmartre - Reston

My friend and I had lunch. She has a number of dietary restrictions, and the chef created a dish especially for her. She loved it. My Quiche Lorraine was beyond delicious creamy, cheesy, and just perfect. The staff is very hospitable and courteous. We will definitely return. Thank you for a great lunch!

Walked in to order two sides of French fries to go, and asked not to season on top with pepper or salt. The host waved me off, and after I just checked to make sure the frites won 't be salty, he said we don 't put salt and walked off. Got home and the fries are very salty to the taste. So, poor customer service and also dishonest. Hard as it is to find independent establishments in NOVA, I will not be back here for a full meal.

Came in and ordered a steak sandwich to go today. They asked how I wanted it cooked I said mid rare. Got home and there wasn't enough meat in it to justify $20 it was chewy and overcooked. Why ask for temp if you're not gonna follow it anyway? Fries were good but again for $20 I'd expect a few more

The service was great, but the food was a little overpriced. I ordered the muscles, and they were gritty. The dish came with virtually no vegetables, and there wasn't even a side salad.

Just had a wonderful dinner at Montmartre in Reston. We had snails, spring rolls and Brie for appetizers. Two of us had the trout and one had the Paté sandwich. Service was great, food was great. Price was a bit high but not considering the setting and the service. Delightful!
