a very isolated place on the state of Brenner in the north of Bolzano, modest external aspect but very chryn and ordered, the interior is a tiny osteria with an old arzillo (the owner) that with a nice white apron takes the orders on the small notebook and then returns from the kitchen with very simple but well cooked dishes. We stopped by and after a first moment of loss to feel catapulted at least 50 years before w... View all feedback.

R.I.P dear Karl and thank you for everything. You prepared the candles when they weren't in the menu, greeted us at all hours and treated us as hungry and tired children, bringing patience with my very lively Teodoro dog that you will now caresss up there. You've been a small, big man and we'll never forget you. Your tavern is in history. Your client from Verona who wanted you a great deal and I know I've been back.

Here I am on my autumn date with Mr. Karl and his extraordinary tavern. Always clean the room and also the bathroom, always friendly and very kind the owner, this person who always welcomes you. If you call, even better. This time he managed in a very short time to prepare a dish of excellent spaghetti, and his famous potatoes and a steak for my dog Teodoro. I therefore add that the tavern in question is also a friend of animals. Thank you, Mr. Karl. She's special.
I always stop at this small restaurant when I am in BZ for work. Today we took some excellent speck and a pasta (very abundant, two beers ... all only 25 Euro! The manager is a very kind person and served us very quickly, since I had a commitment to Bolzano and we were very close with the times. Stop:
For me now is the last stop on the way back when I spend a few days in South Tyrol. Mr. Karl is really a cook, of those of once and in his trattoria you feel welcomed, respected, treated by customer. There is everything, cleanliness, genuine food and the courtesy and extreme availability of the owner who suggests, prepares without wasting time and meets your demands. Addirittura if you call it the day before, makes you find the canederli or the specialties you want. When I think of a trattoria as they don't find it so easily, I think of him and the small church he's a keeper and of which, if you want, he tells you the story while he tastes his dishes. Like in your own kitchen. Mr. Karl can do his job, he always keeps open and deserves all my admiration and respect, thanking him for the sleeves he cooked me here.
