Very friendly service, something you don't always find in this region. Excellent apple strudel.

This is an authentic local family restaurant with excellent food and warm hospitality. The owner took great pride in his restaurant and the family dog was well behaved. I tried the recommended specialty of the day (oxen cheek) and it was delightful. The most tender piece of meat I ever had in my life. The owner sat with us at the end of the day and we had Zirpen Likör and my husband enjoyed a Cigarette with the owner. Nice place miss it already. It is a bit off the beaten path but it is well worth searching for.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch, including delicious apple strudel, and friendly conversation with our server, who kindly answered our questions. The view from the property was amazing and the property itself is quite charming. Well worth the walk! We hope to go back!
