Gasthaus Lobishof - RENON

We booked this place to lunch 12 and arrived there 20 minutes too late because of the traffic on the way. we apologized, but the waitress was visibly disturbed. we had to wait 15 minutes before we could finally sit down....The waitresses were not friendly, only one of them was friendly to us. eating was not high quality and was too expensive for this type of restaurant.

We approached this restaurant during our hike of the pyramix kinderweg, and when we arrived, I thought it was so out of the way that there was no possibility that they would get enough visitors to have good food. how wrong I was.. the food was delicious (me man and I shared the tiroler plate of meat and cheese, burrata and tomatensalat and some roasted kartoffels) and the service excellent. we finished the meal with a piece of cake and a piece of strudel both very delicious. an additional bonus was my son loved the sandbox, slip and swing.

Take the cable car to the top and then take a nice walk through the forest with the children. pushcahiers no problem. children can play in the woods while walking. if they want to be lazy, they can drive there, but so miss the half of the fun. when they are there, lobishof is a great place for children. sandbox, large grass area to run around, some animals/deers. eating is good and cheap. some families go late tomorrow and spend the day there.

Definitely a worthwhile hike from Soprabolzano to the Lobishof, a scenic farm with great indoor and outdoor eating - time it so that you have an appetite when you get there. A circuit route east of the approach leads back through beautiful woods and fields...and finally a llama and alpaca farm, with over 100 animals, just outside of Soprabolzano.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this very nice gasthof on our way to oberbozen. the hotel is situated in a very nice and large clearing. we decided to try a couple of their cakes and they were excellent!
