The best part h... read more We ran across this winery and we are so glad we did. It really shows how a small family winery is run. We were impressed by the quality of wine. The best part however was the personal nature of the tour. We were given excellent explanations and history and family stories. We also enjoyed local farm speck, cheese, pickles, and bread. We highly recommend this tour! Call to make a reservation.

We emailed a few weeks in advance to set up a tasting, but there was also a group of four that arrived the same time as us that Brigitte accommodated as walk ins : the wine is amazing but the experience is even better! An absolutely beautiful place with wonderful stories and very warm hospitality. I can not recommend it enough and can’t wait to go back.

Brigitte took us on a short walk though the vineyard (which featured a beautiful view of the valley before heading back to the porch to taste the wines. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer all of our questions. We tried 8 wines (with some cold cuts and cheese to go with it , all of which were really good, of which we particularly liked the white wines. We bought 3 bottles at really good prices (as compared to what you would find in the supermarket for something if this quality . Overall, very happy with the whole experience : P.s. I would recommend you drive as there there aren't any buses that go up (at least none that we knew of and it was quite some distance from the highway. The road is a bit narrow, but we managed to get a motorhome up and down, so cars shouldn't have any issues.

Superb hospitality, amazing wine, delicious munchies. Having been to Tuscany, Napa Valley, Portugal, etc. this is definitely one of the best wine tasting experiences in the world!
