Pfeifen vine is always a good place to meet friends and share a drink or two. this location does not offer any food, but it has a great choice of wine and alcohol. they can buy a bottle of wine to drink there or just buy a glass of wine.

Order a favorite bottle of wine and then have a downieville pizza delivered from eclipse. great way to finish the week!

We are big fans and regular customers of all the other Whispering Vine locations, but we recently booked a whiskey tasting to celebrate a birthday and were quite disappointed with the service from Michael. He came across as condescending, egotistical, and even insulting at times, interrupting us mid-sentence to interject. Although he seemed knowledgeable and the tasting itself was enjoyable, I can't recommend this experience to anyone unless you’re okay with being treated with disdain. Moving forward, I think we’ll stick to the other fantastic Whispering Vine locations!
