Two Chicks - Reno
Two Chicks
Description
A bright, cozy breakfast destination known for exceptional morning dishes—eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast and standout biscuits-and-gravy—served quickly by friendly, attentive staff. The menu is large and inventive, with great coffee, mocktails and family-friendly touches like carseat hammocks and easy parking at the larger location. It’s connected to a hotel and accepts reservations, making it ideal for groups and celebrations. Minor inconsistencies appear—occasional slow checks, portion variations and a reported policy change about tossing salads—that temper an otherwise reliably delightful breakfast experience.

I really enjoyed breakfast at Two Chicks. I ordered the Farmhouse omelet, which included asparagus and pesto, paired perfectly with a Mimosa. Their menu features a great selection of breakfast and lunch options along with excellent drinks. I’ll definitely return and recommend calling ahead to reserve your spot for the day you plan to visit.
Two Chicks is a must-stop spot on the way to Lake Tahoe. The service and food were incredible. The portions were larger than I could handle, but everything was so delicious I had to finish it all. I ordered a mix plate from the menu featuring Benedicts—the veggie option was our favorite—and chilaquiles. Coffee came in large mugs, and with hot sauce available on the table, what more could you ask for? Biscuit and gravy? They’ve got it. Pancakes in all flavors? Absolutely. I will definitely be back to Two Chicks.
The food was exceptional. The service was prompt in bringing out our dishes, although we did have to wait a bit for the check. We ordered the eggs Benedict, and the hollandaise sauce was amazing. The bread underneath the Benedict was nice and crispy. We also sampled a side of sourdough pancakes, which were lovely.
This delightful breakfast spot is conveniently situated next to the hotel lobby. The food was satisfactory, but not particularly outstanding. Our toast didn't accompany the meal, and we only received one slice, which is unusual since most establishments typically serve two. I ordered the pork chop and eggs; although the pork chop was small, it was tender. My husband opted for bacon and eggs. The potatoes tasted pre-packaged, yet they were still acceptable. The home fries were advertised as sweet potatoes, but they turned out to be regular white potatoes. While we might consider visiting their grilled cheese shop in the future, I doubt we'll come back to this location.
