Two Chicks offers a diverse breakfast experience, showcasing a vibrant menu that includes notable vegan options. Patrons rave about the flavorful mix-and-match Benedicts, hearty skillets, and standout drinks like the strawberry lemonade mimosa. While many diners praise the portion sizes and overall service, some have voiced concerns about miscommunication regarding dietary restrictions, particularly in regard to hidden ingredients like cheese. Despite a few mixed reviews on certain dishes, the restaurant remains a popular choice for brunch, especially for its accommodating atmosphere and varied offerings that cater to both vegans and omnivores alike. Reservations are recommended due to its popularity.

We ordered the vegan skillet with all the toppings and a small stack of sourdough pancakes with blueberries. Both dishes tasted delicious, especially the vegan skillet. While the menu had limited vegan options, the ones they did offer were good.

Not too many vegan options, they do have vegan cheese and vegan egg substitute. Also Gf bread (I didn’t but should have asked if the bread was vegan) Ordered the skillet and GF bread, they gave me their house made butter. I took some (it was yummy) but decided to ask exactly what it was. Reminder that your wait staff doesn’t think about things that seem logical to us! Vegan and GF options please? Would you like real butter with that?

My girlfriend (who eats meat) and I recently visited Two Chicks and were both disappointed. I ordered orange juice and sourdough pancakes. The juice was okay but a little bitter. The pancakes were very light and had a strange texture, no real flavor. We were asked about side dishes when we ordered, including hashbrowns which turned out to have parmesan cheese in them. I was disgusted and upset that this wasn't made clear. Even though I ordered my pancakes vegan, I expected the waitress to know I wouldn't eat cheese either. My girlfriend, who usually eats cheese, also didn't like the hashbrowns. After eating at Two Chicks, I got sick, and I later found out that other meat-eaters have had similar experiences. I do not recommend this place - there are much better breakfast spots in town.

9/28/22 Visit: Unique breakfast joint and engaging decorations, logos/merchandise. Staff was helpful, food was similar to I-Hop (but more unique options). Open space and atmosphere makes it perfect for a brunch date.

So we decided on Two Chicks for our trip.tl.Reno based on the reviews and boy they didn't let down. First off we had the friendliest waitress named Claudia. She was so accommodating and attentive. The food did not let down. The have so manyoptions for people with special dietary needs. They use local supplies as well as the goody has flavor! Not like somerestaurants they don't even add salt! I almost killed the whole plate of my omelette. Do I recommend? Yes!
