Amazing sushi w/amazing service! Wonderful authentic Japanese sushi restaurant w/Japanese sushi chefs. We ate at the bar spoke with our chef while we are. He was incredibly kind welcoming, made you feel like family like you belonged. Then, there’s the food. The sushi was amazing! I got a lot of sushi nigiri a rainbow roll. What The Sandman doesn't like about Sushi Sake:
First time to Reno, wasn't much of a fan. Pretty basic menu and the rolls all seemed basically the same.Except the Dynamite Roll, which has a habenaro pepper in each piece. I enjoy some kick, but it was too spicy for me to enjoy.The chefs were nice, the server seemed distracted uninterested.Overall, I won't be going back and would probably rate it lower if it wasn't my work reimbursing me for the meal. Sushi was excellent. Sat at the bar. Chefs wee friendly and attentive. Prices were great too. Will go back next time we are in Reno.
Winston is a Reno ICON! You absolutely have to come here and request him as your Sushi Chef!
The sushi is flown in fresh from Hawaii twice each week and is amazing. Best in Reno!
We come twice a year and really enjoy Koon our sushi chef and the sushi is amazing!
