**Ambiance:** The restaurant had a dimly lit atmosphere, yet there was enough light to read the menu comfortably. It looked pretty, modern, and updated, making it a romantic spot—perfect for dates—with plenty of intimate booths scattered throughout. **Food:** I started with the Tuna Stack, which was just okay. There wasn't much tuna, and the dish was overloaded with veggies. The number of wontons served was excessive for the small portion of tuna; I think three pieces would have been enough. The tuna and vegetables were cut into big chunks, making it difficult to use the won tons as intended. I also tried the prix fixe menu and ordered the Caesar salad. I wouldn’t recommend it; the lettuce tasted a bit wilted and was somewhat soggy. When they tossed in the dressing, it ended up diluting its flavor. The croutons were quite moist too, lacking any crunch, which was disappointing. The upgraded Rib Eye was flavorful and well-seasoned, served on a sizzling hot plate. However, it was overcooked due to the heat of the plate, ending up closer to medium-well instead of medium as I had ordered. The lobster tail was a highlight—it was flavorful and perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. Even the kids enjoyed it. The garlic mashed potatoes were thick and creamy, but they didn't have a hint of garlic flavor. I felt they could have benefitted from more garlic, butter, and cream since they tended to solidify and became stiff after a little while. The kids had broiled salmon with broccoli, which was simply seasoned and they loved it, though the broccoli was overcooked. They did present it nicely on the plate. The Truffle Lob Mac was unexpectedly large; I thought it would be a small side, but it could easily serve as an entrée. The lobster was somewhat dry and crumbly, with a few larger pieces, but I could barely taste any truffle. The sauce was a bit runny and it didn’t feel like classic mac and cheese, more like lobster pasta in a cream sauce. For dessert, we had rum raisin bread pudding and ice cream for the kids, which were both very good. The pudding was delicious, and the kids really enjoyed it. **Drinks:** I ordered a glass of The Prisoner red blend, which I’ve had before, and it was delicious with the steak. However, the regular ice water was quite unpleasant, tasting oddly like Nevada desert water, which my kids also noticed. But at least it’s just tap water. **Service:** The service was very professional and prompt from all staff members. We were greeted when we arrived and when we left. The food runner and server were friendly and attentive. I would consider coming back, but I’d like to try different items next time. The main dishes were good, but the sides and appetizers could use more attention to detail regarding freshness and texture. Compared to other steakhouses, my experience here was average; I've had better meals. Given the price point, I expected a bit more. However, I might give it another chance in the future when things settle down.

I have to say, this was the most expensive dinner I've ever had for three people! It's not that I couldn't afford it, but I genuinely felt it wasn't worth the price. The food we ordered was simply bland—nothing stood out or tasted exceptional. There was nothing remarkable about the place, and I didn’t feel special; even the presentation of the food was lackluster. I was hoping to be impressed, but unfortunately, that feeling never came, not even from the staff. Despite this experience, I do plan on bringing more friends there for dinner again, and I hope for a better dining experience. After all, it is Ruth's Chris Steak House!

We had made reservations but were accommodated earlier than expected. Unfortunately, our waitress seemed disinterested and lacking in enthusiasm. She took our drink order but returned to the table without my husband’s drink, leaving him without anything to sip on while he waited. When she came back to take our food order, I pointed out the missing drink, and she apologized and went to retrieve it. When our food arrived, I was unhappy with my steak, which was overcooked. I had requested medium, but it came out well done. I decided to eat it rather than wait for a replacement. My husband’s macaroni and cheese was not hot, thick, and dry instead of creamy. We sent that back and they did replace it, but he never received his salad at all. To make matters worse, they didn't offer the warm towels or wipes that are typically provided after the meal, and there were no utensils for us to take leftovers back to our hotel room, which should be standard in a casino hotel setting. We ended up serving ourselves dessert because we just wanted to leave and head back to the Peppermill. Overall, this experience was very disappointing.

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic meal here while celebrating our anniversary. We tried the calamari, stuffed mushrooms, sirloin salmon, and lobster mac and cheese, and everything was absolutely delicious. To top it off, we had the crème brûlée, which was a first for both of us, and it was amazing. Our servers, Collin and Thomas, made sure our drinks were always filled and were a joy to serve us.

We visited Silver Legacy and chose to dine at this restaurant. The initial greeting wasn't particularly warm, but our server was friendly and sweet. The dinner we had was fantastic. The calamari appetizer was incredibly tasty, served with a sauce that had a delightful sweet and sour flavor. The ribeye steaks were flavorful, juicy, and tender. The mashed potatoes were rich and buttery, and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised that sharing our dishes left us feeling full. Just a heads up, the menu is à la carte, and our total came to over $200 for the meal.

Ruth's Chris Steak House presents a dining experience that varies greatly. While many patrons praise the exceptional filet mignon and attentive service provided by staff like Andrew, others lament cold dishes, long wait times, and service inconsistencies, including incorrect orders. The atmosphere receives accolades, yet the overall value of the meal often leaves guests underwhelmed, particularly given the prices. Despite these ups and downs, there remains a hope that future visits will yield a more cohesive and enjoyable dining experience, reflecting the restaurant's esteemed reputation. Wine selections, however, consistently garner positive remarks.

My husband and I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant due to receiving the wrong order. Although my husband is vegetarian and had asked for vegan and vegetarian options, he was informed that those weren't available. He decided to order a broccoli steak, but instead, he was served a ribeye steak and lobster. When we asked for a correction, my own steak was found to be cooked incorrectly as well. Initially, we were told that our desserts would be complimentary, but later we were informed that only one dessert would be on the house, which caused further confusion. When our waiter brought out both desserts and attempted to charge us for the second one, we became frustrated and felt ready to leave. Overall, the mix-up with the meals and the lack of clarity overshadowed our long-awaited anniversary dinner.

The waiter was extremely friendly and made sure to check on us often during our meal. The management also took the time to stop by and see how everything was going.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here to celebrate our anniversary. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the calamari and stuffed mushrooms to the sirloin, salmon, and lobster mac and cheese. For dessert, we sampled the crème brûlée—our first experience with it—and it was AMAZING! Our servers, Collin and Thomas, kept our drinks filled and provided excellent service. They made our dining experience all the more enjoyable.

We came and had dinner tonight, staff was really friendly and helpful. Never had to overwait for anything. Ambience: dimly lit, still enough lighting to read a menu, pretty, updated and modern. Romantic, nice place for dates, lots of booths around therestaurant. Feels intimate. Food: Tuna Stack: it was okay, not much tuna, lots of veggies. Too much wontons served with such asmall amount. I think 3 pieces would've sufficed. The tuna and veggies are cut in chunks so it was hard to add on the wontonsbecause they were so big, not spreadable. Had their prix fixe menu option, I had their -cesar salad: wouldn't recommend it, thelettuce didn't taste freshly chopped, it was a bit wilted and somewhat wet to the point where when they tossed the dressing in,it watered down the dressing. You can see the dressing but I think the quality of the lettuce watered it down. Croutons werevery moist too, barely any crunch. Quite disappointing. -Upgraded Rib eye: really full flavored, can't go wrong with a rib eye, plate it was served on was sizzling hot. Well seasoned too. But it was overcooked due to the hot plate. Which made it cook tomed well, I ordered medium. -Lobster tail: super flavorful, I loved the seasoning they used. It was cooked perfect, moist juicyand delicious. Kids loved this too. -Garlic mashed potatoes: the potatoes were good, thick creamy, but didn't taste any hint ofgarlic at all in it. I think it couldve used garlic, more butter and cream, it solidified a lot and became stiff scoops after alittle bit of time. -Kids broiled salmon with broccoli: salmon was simply seasoned, kids loved it. Broccoli was really overcooked, but kids were fine with it They plated the broccoli nicely too. -Truffle Lob Mac: extremely huge, I thought it would bea small side but it was enough to be an entrée easily. Lobster was a bit dry and crumbly, with some bigger pieces that did looklike Lobster. I couldn't taste much truffle at all. Sauce was a bit runny, it didn't feel lik

This is my go to spot when we are in Reno. No matter how busy it is, their food is always on point. The people who take to go orders are always super nice and friendly. Our typical go to's are ribeye, shrimp alexander, lobster mac n cheese. Loadedbaked potato and crab cakes

When our food arrived, I was disappointed to find my steak, ordered medium, served well-done. I chose not to send it back to avoid waiting for a new one. My husband’s mac and cheese was also unsatisfactory—cold, thick, and lacking creaminess. We returned it, and the replacement was done correctly. However, they never brought my husband’s salad. We also weren’t offered warm towels or wipes after our meal, which is usually standard. On top of that, no utensils were provided for taking our leftovers back to the hotel, which was especially frustrating given the restaurant’s location in a casino hotel where takeout is common. We ended up ordering dessert to go just so we could leave and quickly return to the Peppermill.

We stayed at the Silver Legacy and chose to dine at Ruth's Chris Steak House. Although the greeter wasn't very welcoming, our server was friendly and attentive. The overall dining experience was excellent. We started with the calamari appetizer, which we loved—this was our first time trying it with a sweet and sour-style sauce. The ribeye steaks and sides were flavorful, juicy, and tender. The mashed potatoes were rich and delicious, and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. Sharing our meal left us feeling very satisfied. Just a note: the sides are priced separately, and our dinner ended up costing over $200.
