You ever have a particular food in mind and obsess until you get it? Well, ramen has been on my mind for the last few weeks and finally got to satisfy my craving! Ramen 4 Real is where it is at!! I didn't want any funny business on this trip so I stuck with the traditional Shoyu ramen and boy oh boy did it hit the spot! Salty pork broth along with chashu and ajitama..I mean yum! The worst part about this meal is that I ate it so fast when I wish I could have spent the entire evening with it.. Quick service and comfortable atmosphere. I'm ready to come back!
Ramen4real is a must when coming to the city. consistant tasty
Initially drove past without seeing it. Signage could be better. Happy to find parking around the back. Order was ready to go when I arrived. Yummy food. Got two ramen and shrimp shumai for $41 which did feel pricey and more than Ijji in South Reno last time I went (few years back). But due to location I would return.
Ramen4real is always super fast and the staff always friendly. We both ordered the Jigoku special with pork at level 2 out of 3. The egg was perfectly soft boiled and the flavors were on point. I have been coming here since it was such ramen and they are always consistent. This is my go to ramen spot when I am looking for quick counter service and a delicious bowl. It's also a great place to dine solo!
I decided to give Ramen 4 Real a try on a whim, and I have to say, it's the closest thing to San Francisco ramen that I've found in Reno. They hit all the right marks: generous portions, a well-balanced broth, rich black garlic oil, and perfectly poached eggs. I don’t get into the city often, but this place could definitely satisfy my ramen cravings! The staff was also incredibly friendly. Ramen 4 Real is the real deal!
