Pine State Biscuits - Reno

11/17/22 Visit: Best breakfast place in Reno for anyone who loves biscuits, gravy or calorically dense food! Reminded me of being in Tennessee, and the amazing southern food. Interesting and streamlined process, you order and pay for your food before you even sit down. Definitely recommend for a brunch date.

This place is perfect for breakfast or lunch. The food is fantastic and the service is very friendly. My favorite dish is the Wedgie with blue cheese. This time, we tried the chicken fried steak, and it was truly impressive. It was generously covered in mushroom gravy and well-seasoned. The hash browns are always a great option as well!

Pine State Biscuits is an absolute must-visit! The biscuits are incredibly soft and have a buttery richness that melts in your mouth. We made a day trip from Tahoe, and it was definitely worth it! They were so delicious that we returned for a second visit before heading home. During our first trip, we shared the Chatfield and some beignets, both of which were fantastic! For our second visit, we ordered the biscuits à la carte along with some eggs and bacon. The apple butter that comes with the biscuits is simply heavenly! The service was outstanding, and the staff truly are rockstars for keeping everything running smoothly.

This place is BUSY. A lot of people and a long line at the door. We got there early so we didnt have to wait too long. But I will say that it is really worth the wait the food was AMAZE. The biscuits are soft and moist yet crisp on the top- perfectly made. My son got the figgy pop tarts and they're made from scratch and taste absolutely wonderful. The blueberry pancake is refreshing and lemony. I got a biscuit sammie with chicken and mushroom gravy and it was one of the best

The biscuits are delicate, flaky, and soft with such flavorful gravy that hits the spot. I also tried the fried mac n cheese bites and they were amazingly crunchy on the outside and cheesey in the inside. I added the hot sauce and it was perfect. We sat outside since our dog accompanied us. It was really relaxing and great environment. Would most likely come back.
