Never had a bad meal at this Pegs location. Food is always consistent and generously portioned. Our favorites are the island pork chops and chef George’s Benedict!

OMG. We have been going to Peg’s on Mae Anne for years. Never again. This morning our coffee, beans and hash browns were cold. We told our server and asked him to tell the manager. No one ever came by so when we went to pay our bill we asked the very nice check out lady if we could talk to the manager. We weren’t mad. Just wanted to let them know about our experience. The manager was the problem. She asked us what we wanted her to do about the problem. I was dumbfounded by her attitude. She was dismissive, arrogant and downright rude to us. Then I was mad and told her I would be posting bad reviews and not be coming back. She literally shrugged her shoulders and said “OK”. I bet the owners won’t be too happy about that! A manager should listen carefully to constructive criticism in order to keep quality high. This woman looked at us with such disdain that I left shaking and angry. She did take off the price of the coffee. If she worked for me, she would be gone immediately. The nice checkout lady looked at me with compassion and said she wished she could do something about this. Make her the manager.
