What User doesn't like about La Vecchia Italian:
We were seated at a table that didn't seem appropriate for the pandemic, as we were less than 3 meters away from the neighboring table. Some of the staff members were not wearing masks. However, the young risotto special was a delightful hit. The pasta was cooked perfectly, but they forgot to add the mussel sauce. View all feedback.
We enjoyed our evening. The food and service were great.
Lovely restaurant with very attentive staff. My husband ordered the cheese plate and I had the spinach/pear salad for appetizers (both very good . For dinner I went with the spaghetti carbonara (it was done just right the egg and cream melded together. It should not be alfredo sauce and it should not be scrambled eggs on the pasta just sayin' . My husband had the meat ravioli (did not care for the meat sauce on it . I also tried a cocktail specialty, the Tuscan Sunset, and it was quite good.
Food is amazing! This is our go to place!! Friendly staff and great atmosphere!
I've loved LaVecchia for a number of years. Used to give it 5 stars. It's still good, but I've noticed some cutting of quality during pandemic. The house marinated olives used to be a wonderful, diverse selection of many sizes of olives. As a lover of good olives I ordered it every time. This time it was primarily a bunch of the smallest black olives I've ever seen. I won't order it again. The linguine with seafood was great, with lots of seafood. But the linguine wasn't linguine, just big fat spaghetti noodles. I'm hoping LaVecchia goes back to the quality I loved instead of cutting corners. We'll see.
GREAT spot- I’m a tough grader so I reserve 5 stars for something really outstanding. This was terrific and even my vegan adult kids found something to eat! Very attentive wait staff and dee-lish!
