Our server was very friendly and attentive. The sushi tasted fresh, delicious and unique compared to other sushi restaurants. We really enjoyed the house sauces and lemon juice they use in sushi. Very recommended! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kei Sushi Reno:
A few months ago I went to the Carson site and it seemed much better. Better sushi, better service. It is not that either at Reno site was terrible, but part of the sushi experience speaks with your cook and find out what is good and get recommendations, and that was not possible here because of language barriers. All this is said if you're looking for a merger of sushi and Mexican food, that's your place! View all feedback.

Sushi is decent, service is terrible. We came here on a Friday night and while they had a decent crowd, the restaurant was no more than half full and they seemed to be full. Nevertheless, we had to wait a long time to order, had to ask for things several times and had to wait the waiters down because they rarely came back to check us out. You didn't fill up drinks unless we asked. For questions about the menu, neither our servers had answers. They went back and asked the sushi kitchen what was nice. They have a 20% mandatory tip for parties over 6, which they absolutely deserve nothing. They put lemon on their salmon nigiri, but it is not listed on the menu, nor tell you when you order it. Neither my husband nor my girls like lemon on their sushi. We had 5 adults and although we ordered together, our food was staggered by about 10 minutes per person, which was quite ridiculous. Two of the roles I ordered did not say they had something sharp on them, but they were both sharp. I sent one back and while they didn't make much of it, they were obviously not happy. The appetizers we tried were very good, but overall the sushi was moderate. We definitely don't come back at the next visit.
That's my favorite sushi place. The smoked salmon is like butter and the dragon's roll is to die. The rice is always fresh.
Best place to get sushi in Reno. They have a great variety of rolls, including a couple of vegetarian ones. The service was great as well the ladies who served us were very sweet.
