El Jefe's Cantina - Reno

Breanna and Marilyn were fantastic!!! I highly recommend coming here and seeing the dynamic duo they will take great care of you!

I anticipated the food would be heavily Americanized, but it turned out to be quite authentic in flavor. The guacamole was some of the best I've ever tasted. Be prepared to spend over $30 per person if you order a dish and an alcoholic drink, but I found it to be worth the cost. The atmosphere and ambiance were excellent, and the place transforms into a nightclub later in the evening.

My husband surprised me with a birthday dinner at El Jefes Cantina, located in the Circus Circus Hotel where we were staying. We were celebrating my 50th birthday. Our meal was incredibly delicious, and the service was excellent. They even sang happy birthday to me and presented me with a delicious churro drizzled with caramel and strawberry sauce. I also received a cute sombrero to wear. I’m so grateful my husband chose this place for our celebration. It was truly a memorable evening.

Where do I begin?! The bartender, Bree, is an absolute gem—just lovely and so graceful! Then there's Marilyn, who is incredibly nice and brings such positive energy to the place! Overall, all the bartenders are not only skilled at what they do, but they also make you feel welcome, redefining what hospitality means. When it comes to nightlife, this is definitely the spot to be. And a big shoutout to the security at Jefes Nightclub—they're far more respectful and professional than most bouncers in Reno! Their was about 11 of us we all enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, the drinks. Our waitress was the bomb. We are all visiting from Seattle.
