Chinese village is a hidden gem in South Reno. I've been enjoying their food for quite some time. Their chicken chow mein is absolutely delicious. I order it every time I visit. It's a perfect pair for the Generals chicken, which is on the moderate spicy side. The staff is very polite and friendly. I usually dine alone but it's great for friends and families alike. They have a life long customer in me. View all feedback.
What Lue Walker doesn't like about Chinese Village:
not great, ordered beef broccoli, but they don't even give a side of rice, so had to order one whilst there, the shrimp fried rice was cold, and the egg rolls were boring, a total of over $40 and no delivery anymore, I know costs have gone up but this is ridiculous View all feedback.
I really like the food here and the cook seems to enjoy his work.
I've been here for many years. Going orange chicken only got the ends of chicken. Every piece was fried bread. Very disappointed
It was horrible food. $20 for general chicken and one side of egg rolls cost me $30 together. Food was evil, chicken was soggy without taste and the part was not worth the price. High would recommend going anywhere else
Literally from the opening day almost two decades ago, thru last night, our family Reno gedimt in the Chinese village. The food is excellent. Always fresh food accompanied by a large beer list. Owner Steve and Charlene, with artist Daughter Jade paintings decorating the walls, make for a pleasant evening.
