Diners often rave about the authentic Italian subs and flavorful sandwiches, with some praising the quick preparation and attentive staff. However, inconsistencies in service and food quality have emerged, with reports of long wait times, missing ingredients, and unsatisfactory entrees. While many appreciate the delicious flavors and polite service, a few unfortunate experiences involving incorrect orders and lackluster presentations have left customers disappointed. Despite these challenges, many are hopeful for improvements and continue to cherish the standout offerings at Capriotti's.
Originally I was going to write a disappointing review but in the end the result was fantastic. Last weekend I ordered a sandwich with a couple of additions to that sandwich. I paid $15.00 for the combo, that's a lot for me sometimes, but I was treating myself. The sandwich was not edible and not what I ordered. Fast forward to me speaking with Rosie, the GM at this location. Rosie was so kind and professional, apologetic and reasonable. I was not looking for a refund or anything, more of just informing her of the errors. Rosie insisted I let them make my sandwich right. That sandwich was EVERYTHING!!! In a time where everyone is short staffed and short tempered, this experience reminded me that we are all doing our best. Thank you Rosie and Capriotti's!
Overall: A Layout decor: Food quality: Cleanliness: Customer service: Timeliness: Review: No masks needed as of 6/5/21. The staff were polite, the food came out quickly, the food was really good! I will definitely come here again I really enjoy their sandwiches!
I ordered online and my food was ready right on time! The Italian sub was absolutely delicious. As an Italian myself, I can vouch for its authenticity. Capriotti's, keep up the great work!
I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. My only concern is the price, as it is higher than what I would normally expect to pay for a sandwich. However, the flavors were undeniably delicious.
I waited 20 minutes for my sandwich to be made, and when I asked how much longer, they seemed confused and had forgotten to make it. I had to wait another 10 minutes to receive it. Waiting 30 minutes for a sandwich left me no time to eat on my lunch break. I was very disappointed with this Capriotti's location. I have been going to the Sierra Street location for years and have never experienced service like this. Additionally, my sandwich was much smaller than a medium usually is. They made no attempt to make it right or even apologize for the inconvenience. I will not be returning to this location in the future.
