Really well prepared food cooked to perfection and reasonably priced.....If we were staying for more than just a short break, we`d certainly be back......A little basic and maybe a little too bright inside but the main thing.....Happy Tummies : View all feedback.
What Faisal S doesn't like about Rennes - Kaboul:
We ordered one of the Palaos but it had too much cardamon. All the other flavours were compromised because of this. I've lived with people from Afghanistan for years. They don't cook all this food at all! This is a modified version of Afghani food tailored for French people. Also, people who say great things about this restaurant have probably never been to Afghanistan or tasted authentic Afghani food – so they don't... View all feedback.

The gourmet coffee in the menu is too good!!! The bread is homemade, really of quality.
Excellent! Everything is very good, the balls are mostly falling! It's both high and low. The wine is perfectly matched. The frame is sober with selected decoration elements, the service is good as well. I suggest serving at least the saffron tea with neutral water, not that of Rennes whose chlorinated taste hides the taste.
A big address! Balanced dishes and skillfully noted in well represented photocopy plates. Careful, professional and fast service. Thanks for that great dinner!
We ordered one of the Palaos but it had too much cardamon. All the other flavours were compromised because of this. I've lived with people from Afghanistan for years. They don't cook all this food at all! This is a modified version of Afghani food tailored for French people. Also, people who say great things about this restaurant have probably never been to Afghanistan or tasted authentic Afghani food – so they don't have anything to compare this food with, that's why their experience is good. Also, paying €14 for a small plate of unauthentic Palaw is a rip off in my opinion! Never again!
Just loved the food here. The delicate distinctive flavours, that every little thing seems to taste freshly made to perfection. Well worth a visit. We took our food to go, but the restaurant looks like a nice spot to spend an evening.
